About the firm and owner

I use the latest professional software and tools to deliver your service, including CCH Axcess tax software, QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping (I have a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Level 2 certification), and partner with Gusto for payroll and TaxJar for sales tax. I utilize TaxDome as my practice management software, which allows me to securely share files with clients across the country and correspond with clients as well. Clients love TaxDome because they can access their tax returns and documents from their phone or computer easily.

All of the software I use is SOC 2 compliant, meaning the vendors I use have systems and controls in place to protect your data, and those controls and systems have been tested and earned the SOC 2 designation. I also am a client of the security firm Threat Angler to monitor my communication and devices for extra peace of mind. In short, I take security seriously at Sync CPA.

While I use AI for administrative tasks and research, I do not submit any client-provided documents into AI, nor submit any personally identifiable information (PII) into AI. 

A little bit about myself: My name is Charlie Forsyth, Colorado CPA and Enrolled Agent with the IRS. With ten years of experience in accounting and tax working at smaller local, mid sized national and international Big 4 accounting firms, I have the skills to be able to help out Denver-area small to medium sized businesses as well as remote clients who need accounting, tax and advisory services. I received my undergrad degree in accountancy from Colorado State University and received a Masters in Tax from the University of Denver. When not working, as a Colorado native I enjoy spending time in the mountains, attempting to stay fit, and hanging out with friends, family, my wife Lauren, son Benjamin and dog Luna.
